I have not stayed in that cabin. I will share my opinion based on multiple cruises. Above you are additional staterooms below are the fun shops. No noise from either of them. While you are near the elevators, your floor only has staterooms so the foot traffic will be limited to those staying on that floor. You may have a few times where you hear those coming and going that get loud while waiting for an elevator but you can just as likely have someone walking down the hall get loud.

As to your request for photos or videos, it is a standard balcony stateroom.(8B) It looks like almost every other balcony on Carnival. Was there something specific you wanted to know, like which way the beds face? That is about the only thing that changes.

You can find stock photo on the Carnival website.

I don't think you will find it too noisy but I always bring those little ear plugs just in case. I haven't used them but they are in my suitcase. We download a white noise app on our cell phone so that we can play the sound of a fan in our room because were used to sleeping with the fan. I took NON drowsy Dramamine or Bonine too. I took one in the morning on sea days. I didn't want to risk seasickness ruining my trip because I do get carsick. We hit rough water and I'm glad I had them. You are going to love it!! I am jealous. Nothing like the first time.

We were on the 7th floor on the Freedom in June in a Balcony (an 8C). 6277 will be near the forward elevators. The only negative (or positive) is that that is the large bay of elevators. Also, they are open to the Lobby, so you will hear the music and events, but it shouldn't be too noisy in your room. Plus, events in the Lobby end early, so sleeping shouldn't be an issue. You will have quick access to the Fun Shops and Casino on floor 5. Also, the photo gallery, Victorian lounge for shows and Circle C if you have pre-teens on 4. The lobby and shows will also be easy to get to on 3.

Up on 9, the forward elevators will exit where there are rooms, but the hallway leads to the pool area.

Over all, I like being more forward. The art and midship elevators I think are used more (because that's where the food and pool are!) and are noisier, but the forward elevators are usually more quiet.

I'll see if I can find pics of our balcony room; maybe it will help. How many are in your room? I have a picture of the upper bed pulled somewhere I think.
