lcs Posted October 13, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2015 We haven't been on a Carnival ship in about 12 years. So we saw an add for this luncheon tour and decided to take it and check it out. Has anyone done this before and is it worth the money (about $40. ea)? Any input is appreciated!

sandij Posted October 13, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 13, 2015 We've done this on a couple ships when they were new and it was fun.
lcs Posted October 13, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted October 13, 2015 Where did you see the ad? Only things I see are from January 2014. It was in the Sunday Press Journal out of Vero Beach FL. The tour is on 11/15/15. There is also a tour on the MSC Divina on 12/5/15.

Do I think its worth it ??? Heck yes ... just to get a Guys Burger is worth it !!! BUT, I'm a bit surprised as I thought since 9/11 due to security they weren't allowed to have visitors board the ship... But, I guess anything for a buck or ($40 bucks) !!! Problem is you're going to fall in love with the Breeze, which right now is my favorite ship and the newest one... Have a great time...
Carnival_Brides Posted October 13, 2015 #6 Share Posted October 13, 2015 They can still allow registered visitors (you have to provide specific information beforehand), but Carnival usually does it for Weddings, TAs, and Special Ocassions. Princess created a Bon Voyage tour a few years ago, so for $39pp you could board the ship for the day. It included lunch and a tour and if you booked your $39 fee was put towards the cost of your cruise. http://www.princess.com/news/press_releases/2010/02/Princess-Revives-Nostalgic-Cruising-Tradition-with-New-Bon-Voyage-Experience.html#.Vh05LBNViko
