SusieS Posted October 17, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 17, 2015 We'll be cruising to Mexico on the Crown this January. Have any of you experienced the New Luxury Day Sail excursion? Was it wonderful, or not so much? How was the snorkeling? Thanks so much for any/all feedback!!
RobynHenry Posted October 18, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 18, 2015 We did that excursion last month and it is VERY weather dependent . The food was amazing but no one could eat due to the rolling water and sea sickness. We were a group of 36 and we were in 2 sailboats. The company had to send their fast boat to pick up 17 passengers who were very sea sick. We stuck it out and went to the cove and snorkeled. Not much to see. The sail back to the port was amazing. The seas died down and we were under full sail and it was like gliding on the water. The crew on both ships couldn't have been better. The took care that the sea sick passengers were put safely aboard the fast boat. Great care was taken as the seas were rough. Bottom line, if the seas are calm it would have been a fantastic day. SusieS Posted October 18, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted October 18, 2015 Thank you sooo......much. My husband is prone to sea-sickness, so I think we'll not take a chance! Perhaps I'll look into a beach excursion that includes snorkeling! Thanks again for your feedback!
