mommytotwins Posted October 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2015 We are driving to Jacksonville from NC the night before our January cruise. We are planning to stop in the Brunswick area of Georgia for the night. Any hotel recommendations? I've been know to be a little frugal, but I do want somewhere clean and safe to lay our heads. TIA! mlmc424 Posted October 23, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 23, 2015 We've stayed in Kingsland many times as we drive to all of our FL cruises. Our favorite hotel is the Best Western Plus - good value and close to restaurants. Don't remember the exact exit number....
cruisenfromjersey Posted October 23, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 23, 2015 If you stop at the Georgia welcome center or rest areas, there is a box with hotel coupons. We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Kingsland and used a coupon. I don't remember the cost but it was not expensive. The comfort Inn was very clean and I would stay there again. I'm pretty sure it was near the very last exit before Florida.
Straitlover Posted October 23, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2015 I have stayed at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Brunswick (exit 38???) before. Was able to use the coupon form the Roomsaver book for a decent rate. There is a Hampton Inn or a Fairfield Inn right next door (get those two confused) that looked fine to me.
