Hi,

I am looking to see if anyone know exactly where the Anthem of the sea will dock at Port Canaveral end of Nov 2015.

Traveling with two kiddos, and we just want to take a beach break to Jetty park. Possible at all?

Many thanks in advance!!!!

Best,

q

Royal Caribbean usually docks at Terminal 10. That's the closest one to the overpass, but not necessarily the easiest or closest to get to since you have to drive around past the Carnival pier to get to the main road to exit or almost to the Carnival pier to re enter.

However, getting g to Jetty Park is relatively easy. Just follow the exit road under and around to your left to A1A (Astronaut Blvd) and then take the next exit, on your right, toward George King Blvd and you'll head straight into the park.

Taxis may take you, but they'll grouse about the short distance when they could miss a fare heading to Orlando. You might finagle your way onto a shuttle heading to the Holiday Inn Club Vacation Resort (old Ron Jon's) which is right next to the park. Contact them and see.

While I know it looks like a short distance, there's really no walk ways out of the port. Narrow shoulders and just curbing across the overpass. Lots of traffic, passenger and commercial. Lots of fencing, not sure where any gates or breaks are. People staying at the closer hotels along Astronauts Blvd and less than a mile from the port as the crow flies are discouraged from trying to walk. It's longer than it seems and not a fun adventure for wee ones.

Again, look at hotel shuttles, maybe even Payless Rental Car , close to the Holiday Inn Resort. At least that'd get you in a better situation for walking the rest of the way.
