cabin sizes

Hello all. We have an outside cabin on the Dream for a 17 day TA. We normally have an outside plus. Has anyone on here used both? If so how do they compare, please? Thank you in advance

We have used both 'outside plus' and 'standard outside' cabins on deck 7. We found the standard one had plenty of space for our requirements as it was quite spacious. Personally I would not pay the extra for a plus again, as I did not find the larger cabin necessary. Both cabins were very comfortable.

We did not find the extra space in the plus of great benefit - we just used it to spread out a bit more but managed well in the standard outside. If you like extra space then go for the plus but for many the standard size is fine.

 

You may find there is nothing you can do about it now anyway as my understanding is that all the outside plus ones have sold out for the cruise in December.

We have also been in both. Would not pay the extra again.The sofa is smaller and maybe not quite as much storage in the standard but otherwise fine.

Agree with others. We had a plus the first time, but standard after that and they are fine. There is a misconception that only plus cabins have a bath, but we have had one each time.

I would consider paying the extra £42 when booking a standard cabin as the cabins at the very front can be very noisy early in the morning when docking.

I agree Jackie. Also, according to the deck plans on the new website, the ones at the back don't have baths. That wouldn't bother me but may be important to some.

Agree about the noise at the front. We had 7003 and it was very noisy when the bow thrusters started up in the morning :eek:
