Mybearsbaby Posted October 30, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2015 I saw on a tripadvior review that Governors had a port-a-potty. Do they have a bathroom and/or sink of any sort? If not, what area would you recommend that is least crowded, but has a bathroom. We don't care about chair rentals or umbrellas really, as we plan on snorkeling a little, playing in the water and playing with sand toys with our toddler. The main concern is having a bathroom nearby. We are considering going to go to the turtle farm first, and just do the $18 admission. Once we are finished, maybe grab a cheap bite to eat and go to the beach for the rest of the day. I heard we can just wave down a bus when we are done at the beach, too. IS that true? And will they charge the $2.50 for a toddler? TIA!!
drew sailbum Posted October 30, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 30, 2015 Both Seven Mile Beach Public Beach and Smith Cove have concrete block constructed bathrooms which include sinks. Governor's Beach usually has a Port a Potty but nothing else. SMB Public Beach would likely be more crowded than Smith Cove, though there is plenty of room to spread out. SMB Public Beach is easier to get to if you are going to the Turtle Farm and is more likely to have taxis waiting or a convenient bus passing by for the ride back to the port. cb at sea Posted October 30, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2015 Yes...you simply walk up to the road and a bus will stop, if one's not already there! Pretty sure you'll pay for children, too.
