Beach Bar in Nassau

I am look for a place around the port in Nassau. A bar with decent priced drinks, and access to a beach. We have been to Nassau several time, but this time just want to stick close to the port and relax.

Never been there, but the Tiki Bikini Hut has 4 beers and 4 shots for $10. I'll be there next week, probably gonna check it out.

Junkanoo Beach just a 20 minute walk from the ship has a few beach shacks that offer inexpensive drinks and food.

I was at the TIKI BIKINI HUT a few months ago. I loved it personally. Short walk from the pier. I just sat at the bar with my wife and enjoyed the carribean sea, and wonderful company(my wife of course). Bartenders were friendly but busy. You can rent chairs there as well. They have all kinds of drink specials, and chair specials. Make sure you make it up to the bar to rent your chair. I had the special- 4 beers(local Sands Beer) and 4 shots for 9.99. View was perfect, life was good. :)

Yes, the beach is right there. You can rent chairs at decent prices from the hut.

 

How do you get there from the ship?

 

You'll see the beach to the right from your ship as you approach King George's Wharf and the docks. When you walk out of the port area, just keep walking to the right. It's maybe a 20-minute walk and you'll normally see a lot of cruise passengers doing the same thing.
