JJCruises4 Posted November 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2015 Is there any economical way to get to Jost Van Dyke from St Thomas? If so, who offers this option? My husband and I want to get to Jost Van dyke and are struggling to find something.
Kikkycat Posted November 3, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2015 The only time I've seen an excursion, either ship or private, going to Jost van Dyke is from Tortola, BVI.
JJCruises4 Posted November 3, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted November 3, 2015 When we are in Tortola, we will be going to The Baths. I heard Jost Van Dyke is POSSIBLE but I'm struggling to find anyone to take us without getting a private charter.
minidonuts85 Posted November 3, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 3, 2015 We used Dolphin Water Taxi but there were 10 of us to split the cost and more or less chartered the boat to be on our ship schedule. You wouldnt be in STT on Jan 12, 2016 by chance? Id say if we we would go in on a share!
HarpHarp Posted November 3, 2015 #5 Share Posted November 3, 2015 Here is a firm at Red Hook that does it. http://www.stthomascruiseshiptour.com/tours.html I would not say it is cheap. You MUST have your passport & there is an additional charge from BVI customs.

minidonuts85 Posted November 4, 2015 #7 Share Posted November 4, 2015 I WISH! We are scheduled to be in St. Thomas on December 11th. Bummer! Contact Dolphin Water Taxi let them know you are on the port schedule and see if they have any other groups going that day that you can get in on. Its just two of us going this time and we plan to do the same hoping to get lucky in sharing with another group. If not, we will just go to St John.
