Pre-purchase OBC/Casino credits limit

Hi guys,

 

I've checked with the local Carnival PLC office and they got back to me regarding the limit on how much OBC/casino credits u can pre-purchase prior to voyage.

 

The limit is US$15,000 per person per voyage for casino credits.

 

If your credit cards offer rebates/points/cashback for purchases, purchasing 15k to be encashed later could earn u some extra cash in return. :D

 

PS: I didnt come across any threads with this info, so thought of sharing this :)

The last time I checked the largest certificate is $100 so that would be a lot of work to sign 150 vouchers to get your money. However, I have a 3% cash back card so an extra $450 would be worth the effort.

Then you have to carry $15,000 in cash home with you, to

presumably, pay the credit card balance.

That would be the other problem. Of course when Princess or the Casino company set this limit they were expecting you to actually gamble with the money.
