Carnival Legend January 4, 2006

We are booking on the Legend 1/4/06 - with stops in Belize, Panama, and Costa Rica. Does anyone who has been on the Legend and at these ports have recommendations on what to do in port?

I have been to limon and panama on other cruise lines. I am going on the legend to those ports Nov 1. Cave tubing in Costa Rica was the best ever!! Ariel tram in Costa Rica was OK. Panama I did the Ocean to Ocean it was pretty good, but we could not see the water most of the way. It is a nice excursion for someone who can not do a lot of walking. We are going to do the Embera Indian Tour on this trip -- I have heard it is really good.

We went on the Embara Indian tour last January and I really wasn't impressed. Yes, there is a village on an island but it's almost like they are actors or something. I don't know how to describe it. We were very excited to book this tour... but it just didn't seem genuine. I almost felt sorry for these people...having to perform for the tourists just to make a living. I dunno..maybe it was just us.....
