any up-grades out there?

took a cat BD guarantee coral princess for 11/14 panama canal. now i read how happy everyone is with the suites and minis. wish me luck to get upgraded even tho i am thrilled to get a balcony.has anyone been upgraded to a suite or mini with balcony?

I haven't... and it's very rare. Most upgrades are within the same category or one or two above -- usually just the same type of cabin in a different location. Rarely from one type of cabin to another. Be happy with what you've booked and then if you are upgraded, that'll be the frosting on the cake.

Last year we were upgraded from a balcony to a mini. First time that has happened and we've been on 19 cruises! Lovely surprise just before we sailed. Sigh, now I want a mini every time.
