Cruise Only Check In

Hello,

 

I will be travelling cruise only from Gran Canaria next Monday, and I am getting nervous about how I will find the check in desk and what to expect. It will be the first time I am not travelling as part of a package, so I won't have a rep to make sure I get to the right place!

Any advice gratefully received.

Hi just get a taxi or bus to the port look for the ship you are on and make yourself known to the staff they will sort everything out for you hope you have a good cruise all the best

tell taxi driver the ship and they will know the right place to drop you for checkin (driver should help with your bags too)

We have done cruise only with Thomson before and we turned up at the ship around midday, we got onboard straight away without any problems. The staff were excellent and took our luggage and showed us to our cabin.

as others have said its really easy we did it from tenerife. taxi to cruise terminal and then check in and they will sort everything out for you and the bonus is you may arrive on your own so no queuing with coachloads of people enjoy your cruise
