Help Me Choose a TransAtlantic Cruise

We had mostly full sun all mornings as the back of the ship was facing east.:)

Yes, beautiful sunrises. We'd then leave for the morning, out and about, so missed the sun! It is, however, my preferred location on any ship.

Thanks for all your advice and helpful comments. I'm going to go with the Eurodam out of Barcelona, primarily because I've spent a lot of time in Rome, but the last time I as in Barcelona was when I was 5 or 6 years old (so xxxx years ago! ;)). It will also be a lot easier to get to the port after flying into Barcelona. (And since the price for this cruise (with the casino discount) is so much better, especially sailing solo, I just can't resist :D.)

We love trans atl's and would never do one without a balcony.

When we leave out of civitivecchia-sp ?

We go a day or two early and just stay there, as we have Been to Rome many times. It's a lovely little town with some nice restaurants and lodging.......

whichever you pick it will be great!

BUT I would splurge on the balcony to watch the world go by.......
