No offense, Jacqueline, but this is an example of political correctness gone crazy.

This guy needed to be reported and if he loses his job... SO BE IT. Just because he has it worse than us, does not excuse poor behavior. An example needs to be set and that guy is just making it ok to alow a lower standard to be set.

 

 

While I am typically a big tipper I understand that sometimes things happen and can fully understand the position the OP found herself in so I FULLY agree with Submariner. I don't care what the financial situation is, or the cultural differences are, being rude is being rude. When you are in a customer service industry that's exactly what you do, with a smile on your face and a good over all attitude ALWAYS pays off in the end.
