RoyDeb Posted November 22, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 22, 2015 My wife and I were recently on a cruise on Oasis of the Seas. We went to the Next Cruise area to inquire about making a deposit for a future cruise. Since we were undecided about a particular cruise, the agent would not let us. We returned home and called the Crown and Anchor Society to see if there was a change in the policy. We were informed the program is called Decide Later and allowed us to make a deposit of $100 for each of us. We don't know if any others have encountered being refused this service while on board but wanted to make you aware it still exists.
Big_G Posted November 23, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 23, 2015 We always book a specific cruise so I haven't heard that the 'open booking' option of the Next Cruise program has been eliminated but they made drastic changes to it. Here is the last I read on open bookings: In addition, the NextCruise open booking program incentives have had their onboard credit amounts reduced, with the amount varying depending on the length of your cruise. 5-7 night cruises: $25 8-10 night cruises: $50 11-14 night cruises: $75 15 or more nights: $
