View from Dolphin deck

[TLA]

When one looks down from the balcony, will you look right at the water or is there a chance a lifeboat is in your way? IOW, are the lifeboats tucked under enough so they don't stick out? I like to look right at the water. We have been on the Dolphin deck on both the Grand and Island and I don't recall any obstruction but I also don't know if we were right over a lifeboat. Our next cruise is on the Star.

In this shot you will see that the life boats/tenders are tucked in so as not to obstruct any view. There are plenty of other shots of the outside and views from the decks as well.

Well, it depends on how tall you are and how far over the balcony you are willing to lean to see them...here is a link to a picture of the Sapphire exterior, but you can see that they are nicely tucked under you on the Emerald deck.

Gee, Cherrylandt, thanks for the picture! I'm sailing Sapphire 10/15 for the 1st time on Dolphin Deck & this is the only picture I've seen which has really given me a "sense" of what it will be like. This was neat!:D
