Forts and Rain Forest tour in 7 hrs with kids?

I've been looking at ideas for kids in San Juan.

I love the idea of touring the forts but I also love the idea of touring the rainforest.

It looks like we could trolley it to the forts.

Do we need a company to take us to the rainforest?

What's the most interesting?

Ideas of tour companies with good prices?

Can both be done from 1-8pm?

Any other suggestions? Kids range from 5-14.

Thanks.

We just grabbed a waiting cab to go to the rainforest. We negotiated a price with the driver before we left. I think we were gone about 4 hours. That does not leave a lot of time for exploring San Juan.

I think with young kids I would explore the forts and the city.
