4th of July Celebration on NOS?

We will be cruising the week of July 4th on the NOS. Does anyone know if they have any celebration? Any ideas for decorating the balcony?

i was on the navigator july 3-10 in 2004 and they did nothing for 4th of july...besides and extra security sweep on july 3rd...you did dress up on red, white, and blue for dinner however.

We were on the Nordic Empress for July 4 and there were a few decorations around the ship and they did have 'America the Beautiful' night in the dining room. That was it.

We were hoping for fireworks off the back of the ship....LOL

I kinda thought as much, but I just didn't know for sure. I'm going to bring stuff to decorate the balcony, though. Maybe some flag garland... I'm sure DH will roll his eyes...lol
