We are gong on the Magic and our checking time was 10:30. We were in and sitting in the chairs waiting to board at 10:45. It is great.

Have a safe trip. Glad to hear the new check-in process went smoothly for you!! Where you general boarding or Priority? It's 2:12 pm. Central. Did you experience anyone upset with not being let into the terminal prior to their check-in window? Either way, you've probably been on the ship for a few hours now. Have a fantastic cruise!!

Looks like it depends on how you get to the port and if you arrive the day before or plan on transfers from the airport. Looks like the first transfer from the airport didn't leave till 11:15 with 10:30 boarding times. Here is the thread. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2280977&page=7

We boarded the Freedom last Saturday (11/21). Didn't know what to expect...our check in time was 12-12:30 and we arrived around 11:40. We stood in line until around 11:55 and were allowed in. Was the most organized boarding ever. Once inside, no lines in either security or at check in desk. Could have walked right on ship but waited for daughter, son in law and grandchildren. While waiting I asked an attendant if we could have entered terminal if we weren't traveling with others due to our platinum status and she said yes. This was our 19th cruise and by far the easiest! I think they are on to something with this staggered boarding.
