Kids Eat Free Specialty Dining Questions

From the NCL Website:

"So many cuisines to choose from! Make dinner on every night of your cruise a delicious adventure at one of our Specialty Restaurants. Kids 3-years old and younger always eat for free. Kids 12 and under eat free from the complimentary kids' menu at all specialty restaurants. Excludes dinner and a show dining events."

1. For Kids 3 and under it just says "free", but for 12 and under it says "free from complimentary kids' menu". Does that mean under 3 can order off specialty menu for free???

2. Is the kids for ages 3 - 12 menu a condensed/smaller portion size of the specialty menu, or is it the regular "kids" dining room menu (hot dog, hamburger, pizza, pasta, etc.)??

3. With regards to Margaritaville; does this mean kids under 12 will have a kids menu to order from for free?

Not sure what it is now but when our kids were yoinger they did not charge us for any item off the specialty menu unless we ordered an entree then it was the up charge.

There are no longer kids prices when they order off the standard menus in the Specialties. If they do... they pay like an adult.

My guess is if they are not allowing 3-12 year olds to order they are not gonna let a 2 year old order - They are probably assuming that 2 year old will either off the parent's plate or they will order from kids menu

Sounds reasonable / safe; but that's now how they worded it so wasn't sure.

Does anyone here have experience with that?

Does this mean we can go to Margaritaville with kids and they can order a cheeseburger and fries off the kids menu at no charge?
