mkerner Posted October 2, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 2, 2005 I posted this thread on the Destiny CC Group Cruise board for 6/18/06, but thought there might be info on the general Carnival board, so here goes: Does anyone know how the Skippers Club work in San Juan? We are members of the Carnival Vacation Club and we are supposed to be able to use the club and get priority boarding, etc. Do we just go up to the entrance, do we have to wait in line, etc.? Any info would be helpful. Thanks.
doctrd Posted October 3, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2005 There is no Skipper club in San Juan, at least not last year when we went. Just get there early, and less of a wait..12-12:30 is good time.
scarlettohara Posted October 4, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 4, 2005 Actually, there is Skippers Club in San Juan. We were on the Destiny 9/4/05 and used Skippers Club for our embarkation, and were glad we had it since the lines were very long (we arrived at the pier by 12:30). When you arrive at the pier look for the host, who will be holding a sign for Skippers Club members. He or she will guide you to the room for check in. After that, you can check out the liquor store in the terminal, or go directly through security to get in line to board the ship. The day we boarded they didn't open the ship for boarding until 1:00.
