Hi,

I will be shortly go on the Sapphire princess out of Singapore and have noticed I can buy onboard credits on the Princess website in AU dollars even though the cruise will be in US dollars.

Does anyone know what exchange rate Princess uses to convert the onboard credit to US dollars?

Nathan

Has anyone purchased recently in GB £s ? We are thinking of doing this but wondered what the current exchange rate is.

We have enquired a few times this year and lastly about 1 month ago. Each time it has been quoted as $1.538 = £1. This rate is much better than the high street rates are, or have been over the last three months. If you want to do this just ring Princess a d they will quote ypu the price for how much you want to purchase. If you use your credit card then the transaction is deemed as "good and services" and not a cash advance on your credit card statement. If, for any reason you have to cancel then the credit would be refunded to your credit card.
