i know this is a first world problem, but this is the second time this has happened to me under the same reservation...originally the SPIRIT was doing the Caribbean; then NCL cancelled all the itineraries through April as they were bringing the Spirit to the MidEast; now they are changing many of the ports I was looking forward to.

Hope this helps folks.

Weren't these sailings to embark in Istanbul? That really is a bummer for those who already purchased airfare. I needed to purchase airfare with miles and after the whole mass cancellation I was too leary to book one of these replacement sailings. The epic which was originally scheduled to embark/debark in Barcelona was a much safer bet. When they replaced with the spirit I ended up giving up my incredible deal and booked for earlier, September dates. That way if I got burned again I would at least have backup choices. I currently have three deposits down on three different lines. Figured they can't all cancel. All that mess and now more changes. I would not be surprised if further alterations are made. Especially with Haifa. DCL just cancelled Kusadasi as a port stop on the Fall 2016 sailing. They are offering $1000 to passengers who were booked. A little better than the $50/$100 NCL gave for that mess.
