wondering if anyone has ever had a cabin upgrade on a River Cruise? Been on several ocean cruises and received upgrades on some. we are on the first cruise of the season on the Danube with AMA in late March and ship might be less than full.

Uniworld will upgrade your cabin subject to availability and only to their River Heritage Club members. Suites are not included. To become a RH member you just have to have traveled with them before. the best perk of the RH club is having a load of laundry done for free per week.

I believe the Uniworld perk of free laundry is only on Uniworld owned boats. The boats in Portugal and China, for example, are not Uniworld owned and therefore you don't get the perk!

We were upgraded from a Jr. suite to a full suite on our Russian River cruise with Vantage, but it was our 7th trip with them. I think upgrades are given to loyalty members and it's kind of random.
