Parking in Houston

Sorry if this has been posted before. I am still new and learning how to navigate the site! :) I was wondering if someone could tell me a good place to park at the Houston Pier. We will be driving up the night before or the morning of our Jan. 9th cruise on the Jade. I thought I would prepay for parking. We usually sail out of Galveston so this will be our first time in Houston.

 

Also, can anyone recommend a good hotel down in that area that is kinda close to the pier. We are very laid back so it doesn't have to be super fancy but I just prefer no bed bugs!😜

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in LaPorte. The area is very industrial but the hotel was fine.

There is ample parking at the Bayport cruise terminal. There's just one lot, unlike all the private lots in Galveston.

 

You save a little money by paying in advance. You print your receipt and then show it at the gate.

 

It's a very easy terminal to use. You drive up to the curb and unload your luggage and then pull around and enter the parking area.

Best western seabrook has parking for $40 for the week with a stay and also has free shuttle to port.
