Classes? Arts and Crafts? Independence of the Seas

Hi, this is my first time cruising. Wondering if I will get bored during the day when we are at sea. My question is, do they have an itinerary or classes that we can take?

 

Such as cooking classes, craft classes, etc? Anyone been on the Independence lately and could tell me if they offer any classes.

I haven't been on Independence, but every other ship I've been on offers card making/scrapbooking/jewelry making type classes on sea days. I usually end up going to all of them and come away with some very cute things and ideas!

I know that while we were on the Brilliance of the Seas, a lady would jump up from her lounger every day to go to craft class. One day she said they were making book markers, maybe? I did not partake. I was enjoying reading in the Solarium much too much to leave!
