Majesty Cruise (10/7-10) Need Atlantis Help

Recommended Posts

My family of 4 is taking my parents on this 3 night cruise for my dad's 70th birthday. I have a reservation at Atlantis for 10/9 (which is his actual birthday) so we can enjoy the facilities while we are at Nassau. However, Atlantis won't allow us to have more than 4 "bracelets" even though we are not staying in the room. So my only option is to pay another $250 for another room that we won't be using since we are on the cruise (which is ridiculous) .

So my other thought is to find someone else who is booking a room at the Atlantis for that day to have access to the pool and beach. And I will pay you the $45.00 each for 2 guests (my mother and father).

 If there is anyone else on this cruise who wouldn't mind getting some reimbursement on their room cost just to add 2 "guests", I am willing to pay for it even more than the $45.00. Let me know.

We were just on the Majesty weekend cruise two weeks ago and booked a room at the Comfort Suites to gain access to Atlantis. My rate booking thru Smartertravel.com was $128 for two adults and $30 for each additional adult. You are only allowed four in a room (which means only four wristbands). It was so worth it as Atlantis was an amazing place and a great way to spend the day in Nasaau.

Enjoy your cruise!

Thank you all for your information. I'll try smartertravel.com and see what rate comes up for the Comfort Suites. I hadn't really wanted to have reservations at two different hotels. But with the little help I've received from Atlantis, I'm more willing to give my money to the Comfort Suites. Now I can stop obsessing/worrying about the stay at Atlantis and can start looking forward to the cruise (even if it's going to cost me another $180).

Thank you.:)

As having just come back from Atlantis from my Majesty cruise a month ago I can tell you that Comfort Suites no matter which room you book will only give you a max of 4 wristbands. 4ppl = 4 wristbands. 2ppl = 2 wristbands. There were 6 of us & we indeed had to book 2 rooms to accomadate everyone in Atlantis. Let me tell you...it was well worth it. The place is beautiful! I believe from also reading other people posts on CC if you book a room at Atlantis itself the rules are the same. Go & enjoy the sites!

Wolverine wife, we will be on the Majesty on Friday also! Can’t wait!

Can you cancel your room at the Atlantis and just book the rooms at the Comfort Suites so you don’t have to check in twice?

Just a thought.

We will be celebrating our 15 year wedding anniversary and bringing the kids along AND sharing a cabin…yikes!

We usually get connecting cabins so I am telling everyone it will be an adventure and it will be like camping on a ship LOL

Maybe now the kids will appreciate the connecting rooms and balconys. We are also sailing on the Serenade in April but have connecting balcony cabins with my mom.

We booked two rooms for 8 people at the Comfort Suites for August. We've also done it once in late September. The time of year makes all the difference. Late September was great. However, August wasn't worth the money. There were long lines for the slides, and it was very crowded.

We did enjoy the dig, but I think you can pay much less than the price of a room at Comfort Suites to see that. The hotel and casino are spectacular and can be seen for the price of a taxi ride from the pier.

I would think long and hard about booking a room again for use of the Atlantis facilities during a high season.
