Upgrading, Early Savers and OBC

Hi! We book an inside room on the Early Savers rate. As part of the rate we also got $50 on board credit. Then there was a price drop and we received $25 more OBC. We are now considering upgrading to a balcony. We are about 2 months away from cruising and Early Saver is no longer available.

My question is: if we were to pay for the upgrade, what would happen to our OBC?

The OBC has nothing to do with Early Saver. The OBC could have been part of a special or given by a TA or a host of other reasons. Upgrading to a balcony means you might lose the OBC (based on the reason it was originally granted). You will need to call Carnival or your TA and ask them specifically if you would lose the OBC if you upgrade to a balcony prior to asking/paying for an upgrade.
