woodley Posted January 2, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2016 I booked the ships transfer from airport to the port with celebrity in Buenos Aires. We arrive at 630am and were told the shuttles started about 9.30am. On reviewing my ticket it is now saying pick up is 3pm. While I did not mind killing a few hours at the airport it now seems like way too many hours to be hanging around an airport. Has anyone taken the shuttle and what was your experience. Any advice on alternatives?

Any advice on alternatives? Alternatives are plentiful. Taxi Ezeiza http://www.taxiezeiza.com.ar/ or one of the private car companies that have kiosks just as you leave customs (Manuel Tienda Leon, World Car, VIP and several others). Taxi Ezeiza's current charge is 500 pesos (38.50USD) per car or a little less than 20 bucks per person. The ride to the port will average 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. Virtually every service will accept either pesos or dollars. The car services charge slightly more. Don't take a taxi from outside the terminal, but transportation from inside is entirely reliable.
