Rina155 Posted January 7, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2016 Question. Reflection shows March 8 arrival time for 8 am. Is this ship time? As I know shore time well at least I think is one hour ahead of shore time. Just need to know as wedding planner is scheduled to pick us up at 9am shore time. If 8am arrival is really 9am in St Thomas I need to rearrange things. On hold with celebrity forever so thought I would ask here. az_tchr Posted January 7, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2016 Ship time almost always is set to agree with shore time. But, it is the option of the Captain to do otherwise and very occasionally happens.
Rina155 Posted January 7, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted January 7, 2016 Thank you. It is just I saw a daily from Dec sailing and saw the one hour difference and wondered if arrival noted is ship or shore time. So confused Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Peteymil Posted January 7, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 7, 2016 We are just off of the reflection and ship time was not the same as short time. We were told not to move our watches ahead one hour so when we got to St. Thomas,St. Thomas was an hour ahead of ships time. In other words if we got there at 8 AM chips time it was actually 9 AM in St. Thomas. This became a bit confusing as I often would use my cell phone to tell time, and I had to always remember it would be off by an hour.
Rina155 Posted January 7, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted January 7, 2016 Thank you. Yes celebrity finally answered after being on hold for 40 mins and was told same thing. I am so glad I found this out or all plans could have been totally messed up! Thank God for CC! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
