shaver Posted October 6, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted October 6, 2005 thank you! is this typically ordered through the travel agent or hal direct?
TidePrideGA Posted October 6, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 6, 2005 I think the best way to do this is after you get on board and are in duty-free waters, but I'm not sure. The above info is the result of a direct request I made to HAL for a list. If you want the whole list, I'll be happy to email it to you.
jaguarstyper Posted October 6, 2005 #5 Share Posted October 6, 2005 I dont think it matters when you order it. Its $18 and $19 whether ordered in advance through ship services or from room service. We did both. That price includes the gratuity. Tim
Golfgrl1911 Posted October 6, 2005 #6 Share Posted October 6, 2005 I have always ordered through ship services prior to the cruise. Some balk at the price but if you break it down it comes to about 3 bucks a beer....The cost of an import in a local pub......not too bad and it's waiting for you in your cabin when you arrive! I just have the steward keep them on ice in a champagne bucket for the duration that they last. They run $4.70 if you order one out & about on the ship individually. Oceanwench Posted October 6, 2005 #7 Share Posted October 6, 2005 They run $4.70 if you order one out & about on the ship individually. Unless you get a bucket of beer up by the aft pool! :D I just wish they'd carry a dark beer ...
jaguarstyper Posted October 6, 2005 #8 Share Posted October 6, 2005 Just pour some black coffee into a Heineken. There you go :D On second thought, maybe not. Tim
KCat Posted October 6, 2005 #9 Share Posted October 6, 2005 When we were on Oosterdam last year, they served Grolsch with the neat flip-top closure. Were they serving these on Zuiderdam?
swom Posted October 6, 2005 #10 Share Posted October 6, 2005 Unless you get a bucket of beer up by the aft pool! :D I just wish they'd carry a dark beer ... Yep, bucket of beer is the way to go...4 domestic beers for 10.00. That's 2.50 a beer, same as you paid at most bars. Wait till you get on board and go to the Lido pool bar and order as many as you like. You can take them to your room and enjoy there if you like.
