(Scheduling is crazy and will be mid mani schedule for my trip) Does the spa have gel polish? I know I know ..... Such problems!!!! Sauer-kraut Posted January 18, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2016 (edited) They do ... but figure on paying about double as much on board than you do at home. Edited January 18, 2016 by Sauer-kraut

boopsahoy Posted January 18, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 18, 2016 Oh my!! But good to know. Thank you!! A manicure and pedicure-regular polish-cost me around 140 bucks. I only did it because I had a credit and there was nothing else I wanted! At home I get a mani-pedi for $19.99!

Tricialy Posted January 19, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 19, 2016 I think I paid $50 for a shellac manicure in the Jewel a couple of years ago. I pay $27 at home, but one of the perks back then was a $50 spa credit. They did have the Shellac brand polishes and the view was gorgeous looking out over the ocean - or try to squeeze it in early at home. I usually have to adjust manicures before the cruise to make sure they're new when cruising. :)

I had a 150 credit from the casino. I liked it better when they gave you a one day access for 2.

LOL! As for many of us, my work schedule has been crazy so I am off schedule/cycle for my normal pre cruise "beautification" But one other point of info, I once had to sneak in a hair appt on Breakaway..let's just say I needed a "touch up" The stylist did a wonderful job and DH actually said, "wow, that looks good" I do not remember the price but I remember not being shocked or upset. However, these mani prices are quite exorbitant for a regular, non-spa, mani! If they served a glass a bubbly plus the view.............;) RE the spa credit for a day/week pass. Goodness I miss that! But I digress. Thanks again everyone. I greatly appreciate the feedback! :D

They also used a lotion that felt warm then one that felt cold (hense the name fire and ice mani/pedi lol) It took almost 2hrs! I was itching to go and DO!:D

I don't want to spend that kind of time away from the action! LOL
