Transportation NCL Breakaway from Providence

Hello,

 

Anyone traveling from Providence to New York to get on the NCL breakaway terminals, who do you for transportation?

 

I used to use Academy Bus But they are no longer doing Providence to NY trips.

I would take Amtrak to penn station and then a cab to the port

 

And take the earliest train available or come in the day before and enjoy nyc

We are driving this year (5 people including a 2 year old makes it worth it!) but when we went on gem a few years ago we did Amtrak + cab and it worked great.

We have sailed out of New York and used the train into penn station. We are looking at using Go Buses next time because it seems to be cheaper but it looks like they are just Academy buses.

How much was the Go Bus price from Providence? I can't seem to get the price to come up on the site.

We also used to use Academy Buses to the port. We now are using Peter Pan which takes you to Port Authority but you have to take a cab to the ship about 3 city blocks. The cost is $65.00 ea. if you book during the week. It cost more if you book on the weekend. Cab ride we were told is about $11.00. Hope this helps.
