PeggyCTB Posted October 7, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 7, 2005 My husband and I are taking our first Oceania cruise on Regatta's 5/7/06 sailing. One of our favorite things to do on a cruise is to dance either before or after dinner, or both. We tend to eat late. Does anyone care to share information about dancing venues? Thank you. Member Posted October 7, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 7, 2005 Welcome to the dance club, Peggy. From the desk plan, it seems there are dance floor in front of the theatre stage and one at the far corner of the GDR which is not too functional for us to dance on. Dancing in front of the Horizons' piano stand carpet area maybe the only option. I hope I'm wrong!
shoshona2 Posted October 8, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 8, 2005 Hi, My DH and I also love to dance. We have been on Oceania twice now and there were plenty of opportunities to dance. There is dancing in the Showroom on Deck five and the times for ballroom dancing will appear in the daily bulletin. I believe there is ballroom dancing every night before the entertainment begins. Also, there will be dancing at the Captain's welcome party and the repeater's party. We have also danced at various times in Horizons on Deck 10 where there is a small dance floor by the bandstand.
