dreaminofmeadows Posted January 28, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2016 Whats the latest you have added a guest to your cabin booking? Assuming of course that the cabin is designated for the total number of guests and this ship has space left in its total number of guests requirements. wantocruisemore Posted January 28, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2016 I would assume as last minute as you can get. But I am interested in responses since we booked a 3 person cabin with 2 with the intention of adding daughter later. I would have already added her but prices keep increasing. You're always in danger of being bumped if your cabin allows more people than booked. However I understand that is normally closer to sailing. So likely we will add daughter right after final payment or whenever I see prices down.
isaiahsnana Posted January 28, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 28, 2016 If the life boat capacity for your cabin's area has been reached then you will not be able to add someone. This especially comes into play when school is out and a lot of 3-4 person cabins are filled to capacity.
It's a Ship!!! Posted January 28, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 28, 2016 Whats the latest you have added a guest to your cabin booking? Assuming of course that the cabin is designated for the total number of guests and this ship has space left in its total number of guests requirements. It's 2 or 3 days. I can't remember off the top of my head which one for Carnival because all the cruise lines are slightly different. If it's something you are actually considering, then you can call Carnival or your travel agent and they will have the exact answer. Of course those 2 or 3 days are only if the conditions you mentioned are met, so it's better to do it as soon as possible.

Assuming of course that the cabin is designated for the total number of guests and this ship has space left in its total number of guests requirements. I would not wait too long. There has been more than one poster here that was disappointed to find no-one could be added, even the lady who booked solo planning to add her daughter later.
