faithwins Posted January 31, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2016 (edited) Hi All- With the recent "Free at Sea" promotions, we chose the speciality dining option. UDP. When I go to make the reservations online for various restaurants , I'm not being charged anything, even when I select all four guests. Is this normal? Will it be charged on the ship? Thanks! hawkeyetlse Posted January 31, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2016 That is how it has worked in my experience. I have only seen one report of someone being charged beyond a certain total number of meals. You are not getting the meals for free, just the reservation. On the ship, the people who don't have a dining package will be charged the regular walk-in price.
Golfin55 Posted January 31, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 31, 2016 That is correct, with the old UDP you can pre book your res, but there will not be a charge. It's correct.

But both the UDP and the SDP seem to work the same as far as the free reservations go.
