Ocho Rios New Waves Sail & Snorkel excursion

I was wondering if anyone has done the New Waves Sail & Snokel excursion in Ocho Rios thru Princess? How was the snorkeling?

We did this excursion and found the snorkeling average. We were @ a reef area not far from the shore. Not an abundance of fish to see.

Afterwards, the catamaran sailed us down to the Dunns River Falls to observe but not get off. Went out into the ocean breifly on the return and experienced some pretty large swells. This was in April.

We did this in December of 04. Not recommended for snorkeling. Water clarity was way below average. Not a lot of fish.

 

And the sail back was a constant barrage of selling everything from t-shirts to bootleg music CDs.
