Best transfer options

We are a family of 5, leaving out of Port Carneval on the Magic in June. We are staying 3 nights beforehand at Universal Studios. What options would be the best for

1. Airport to Universal

2. Universal to the port

3. Port to airport

Do you need a car while staying at Universal? :confused:

 

If so, or even if maybe, a one way car rental MCO to PC may be your best/cheapest option - giving you flex to shop, dine, & explore other parts of Orlando. All of the major car rental agencies have locations in PC or nearby Cocoa Beach and offer free shuttles to the port. I have always dropped the rest of my party plus bags off at the port, then returned the car and rode the shuttle back to meet them and complete check-in. Some choose to drop the car and have everyone plus bags ride the shuttle.

 

What time is your post cruise flight home? :confused:

 

Anything after about noon is safe. If before 2:00 I would just use a shared shuttle (CorTrans or Cocoa Beach shuttle) or private transfers (executive VIP) and head straight to MCO. If your flight is later in the day I would rent another car one way PC to MCO and go somewhere fun for lunch before returning the car to the airport.

 

Use your favorite site to compare rental prices - I like www dot carrentals dot com. You can also search some of the Universal and WDW boards for discount rental codes that might save you a few $$
