kelly-NYC Posted February 10, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2016 I haven't cruised in a few years, but my parents are headed to Labadee on Royal Caribbean next month. While they are senior citizens, they are somewhat active, but my mom has hurt her ankle recently. She is insisting that it isn't worth it to even get off the ship in Labadee because she'll have to walk almost a mile and over a rock wall to get to the water. I've never been there, so I'm looking to see if this is true. Any suggestions as to how a senior citizen with a sore ankle can enjoy their day in Labadee? SeaThruU Posted February 10, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 10, 2016 Royal Caribbean runs trams from the ship to a turn around which is a short walk to the beach and right at the lunch buffet area. These run continuously all day in port. You might get more responses if you also post this question in the Royal Caribbean area of Cruise Critic.
