one day-activities for teenage boys?

We are on the Carnival Dream next week and get back to NO at 8:00 and our flight doesn't leave until 6:40 pm. My boys are 13 and 15 and not into shopping. ;) Any suggestions of what to do? Thanks!

Take a walking tour of French Quarter, cemetery or a Voodoo tour. I recommend Free Tours by Foot. We've done the FG tour 2 different times & a ghost tour.

Go get Snowballs or Ice Cream

I believe you can to those locations by streetcar & some walking.

OR there was a snowball place in the French Market.

 

My family w/ 2 teens did a fast day in NOLA last fall after we got off the Elation. We took a walking tour, walked through the French market to grab a snowball then as we left town (by car) we went to Metairie cemetary. We ate Belle's diner across the French market. Not necessary "NOLA food" but easy in & out for a bite.

 

The next time we get off the boat in NOLA, we're taking the kids to Blaine Kern's Mardi Gras World.
