PAsailors2 Posted February 11, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2016 Anyone played this course? There is an excursion offering through our X cruise, but I'm trying to determine if booking on my own with a taxi fee involved would be cheaper. Also wondering about the condition of the course and distance from the cruise pier. Thanks
DougYWG Posted February 13, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2016 Cruise ships mark up the shore excursions by quite a bit so you will almost certainly be cheaper doing it on your own. It's about 10 minutes from the port. I have never played the course but drove past it every day some months ago and it looked in very good condition. PAsailors2 Posted February 27, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted February 27, 2016 Reporting back on Cedar Valley-VERY disappointing! It was like playing a cow pasture! I always try to purchase a ball marker or sleeve of balls-nothing like that for sale. Clubs for rent were horrible-old set of Wilsons. Best part of the day were the guys I played with from the ship. WAY overpriced experience. Can't recommend

DougYWG Posted March 1, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 1, 2016 Oh dear! Sorry to hear that. I know people who play regularly but have never played it myself. We live and learn.
