Zip Line In Belize

Have finally convinced DH to do a zip line excursion in Belize. :cool: Now we just have to make a choice. One is called "Lost World Canopy and Rappelling Adventure" and the other is called "Belize Aerial Trek".

 

Any comments and recommendations?:)

My sister and I did the lost canopy tour from Coral last April - it was a blast! It was a short but fairly steep walk up a small woodsy path up to the first zip. The rest was not at all strenuous. Bus ride took probably an hour each way and lunch was a tortilla with grilled chicken and veggies - not fancy but tasty. We had a great time; kind of sorry they're substituting Ocho Rios for Belize now.

We did the Lost World Canopy tour this past February. It was a brand new company - very pretty area and like the other poster stated - a fairly short walk to the firstt raverse. They were very safety conscious- we would do it again - a lot of fun! The bus ride was an hour, but they do stop for a bathroom break before going in to the jungle.
