CB bed question

For those who have sailed on the CB. How would you describe the overall comfort of the beds?

This is one of the biggest complaints we have on Princess. We really don't like the beds. When they push the two beds together to make a queen all they cover the gap with is essentially a sheet. We asked on our last cruise for an egg crate or mattress pad and they didn't have one. The mattress itself isn't too bad, but I just can't stand the crack in the middle of the bed.

We were lucky enough to get an eggcrate for our bed and thought it was pretty comfy.

The responses are generally accurate. In the mini-suites and suites, the CB has upgraded the mattresses to Beautyrest mattresses, and they are quite comfortable. Since the queens are two twins pushed together, on the Beautyrests, the center area now is now a gap, but rather a firmer edging that surrounds each mattress.
