Dining Room Request on the Pride

I was wondering how early you should email asking for a dining room request? We are sailing in May on the Pride. I know it is just a request and not guaranteed but I thought I would try.

I email about 2 to 3 weeks before and have always had my request granted with no issues. I have never done it any earlier than that though.

 

Note, I typically do not receive a reply (only once out of all of our cruises I think) and we go and find our table in the MDR once we board and can get into the dinning room. That is when you will know if the request has been granted.

If you booked with a PVP, ask them to add your request to your booking. Although requests are not guaranteed, it has always worked for us.

Usually 1:30 p.m. on embarkation day.

We have always email the maître d' about two weeks before the cruise, and it seems to work well.

I'm a bit confused: Do you mean "dining time"? When we booked our cruise for August 2016 we had to decide right then...6pm-ish or 8:30-ish (can't remember exact time). You weren't asked to do the same?

I did pick a dining time. I am referring to a particular table type as we would like to sit just the four of us for this cruise.

I sent a month before and the maitre d emailed me back. We were able to get the table together.
