Jersey platypus Posted February 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2016 Hi - we are UK residents, will we need visas for our travels - we fly to Barbados but visit Puerto Rico, St Maarten, St Kitts, St Thomas, St Lucia. I've looked on the Carnival site but I can't seem to figure it out, being a bit dim. Thanks for any pointers.:)
SadieN Posted February 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2016 Can't answer your question being from California but might try asking in the UK Cruisers board.

part-timer Posted March 2, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 2, 2016 Hi all I am from the uk and have done this itinerary 3 times - all you need visa wise is your esta. Be aware if you boarded in Barbados you must get off the ship in Puerto Rico and will not be allowed back on for several hours. You have to take your passport and disembark, when you get back on board you can bypass all the queues of those joining in San Juan, head for a carnival employee in port and they will usher you through. This is a fab itinerary you will have a great time, if you need any suggestions for excursions just shout.
pr1vatepiles Posted April 14, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 14, 2016 Evening, UK cruises to and i think we are looking at same cruise (except mine is 2017). Ours lists: Day 1 Barbados Day 2 St. Lucia Day 3 St Kitts Day 4 St. Maarten Day 5 San Juan Day 6 St. Thomas Day 7 Fun Day At Sea Day 8 Barbados Not heard about this San Juan situation described above. Is this a major boarding point for people? I thought everyone would board in Barbados?

Hence the later stay.

Badders Posted May 9, 2016 #8 Share Posted May 9, 2016 Hi We are doing this cruise back to back in July from Barbados. What time did you have to disembark in Barbados? Our flight is not until 5pm so we are trying to figure out what to do.

cruisingbajan Posted May 11, 2016 #11 Share Posted May 11, 2016 I don't believe UK citizens need visas to enter the US.
