Has anyone booked the LA tour with the airport drop off? I thought it would be a good thing to do to kill time between disembarkation and our flight. We have a pretty late flight (5:30 p.m.), am wondering if there is a city tour I should arrange on my own from port to airport or if the Carnival one is good.

As a townie, I'd say that's exactly what you would be doing: killing time. But it might be fun. But then what can you do in three hours minus lunch and transport to the airport?

 

Might the money be better spent on a portable DVD player for the kids and some trashy novels for the parents?

Kids are too old to be mollified with dvd at the airport (16, 20 and 19) - thought they'd enjoy seeing how the 'other half' live as a tease, or incentive.

 

Do you know of a good tour company in the area?
