The ding dong chime sound

Was on the breeze last week. Sort of missed that ding dong chime sound when they check you on and off the boat. They are using some type of tablet now to just scan your card. Sometimes technology isn't fun

Ah... no ding? What about when you first come on? The ding is what makes it official. I don't like hearing it at the end, but embarking is when I love it.

Hadn't thought about it before, but I agree. I love that ding! Also love the chimes before announcements are made. It reminds me that I'm on a cruise ship.

Trust me, the person who is checking you in/out isn't going to miss it! You hear it a few times, they hear it several hundred or thousand! Try standing in their shoes and see how you like it. :cool:
