Club Disney Chandler Posted February 28, 2016 #51 Share Posted February 28, 2016 OP, I totally get your anxiety. We've done 4 Disney cruises and are trying CCL in June on the Vista. I booked that cruise based on the ship amenities only. She could be badged any ship company name and I would want to sail her. That being said, I'm nervous as crap about trying something new . But by the same token DCL only has 4 ships so their variety is pretty slim, but we've always had amazing experiences on their ships. I'm looking forward to trying something new and hopefully we'll love CCL and can save some cash on our cruises after that!
PAPERBKWRITER Posted February 28, 2016 #52 Share Posted February 28, 2016 Variety is truly the spice of life. We cruise all of Carnival's competition and never been on a bad cruise (200+ days at sea) but some are better. Your Chevy mifgt be a grat car but when you drive a Caddy you'll see the difference. Rare Tapi Posted February 28, 2016 #53 Share Posted February 28, 2016 I'm Platinum with Carnival, but my cruise history since 2011 is as follows: Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Royal Caribbean, Princess, and MSC next. NOT being loyal to one cruise line is one of the best cruise related decisions I've made in a long time, and I truly encourage you to do the same. We've had some great cruises on Carnival, but there's A LOT more oit there.
Pesh Posted February 28, 2016 #54 Share Posted February 28, 2016 Life begins where your comfort zone ends. Try another line. Try more than one. You'll be on a cruise, so how bad could it be? Go for it.
