Anyone have experience through this third party for snorkeling/sightseeing? Taking us to the barrier reef for snorkel and then to Daniel's monkey/sloth habitat, 4 hour excursion $55/pp. Any reviews/advice much appreciated, thanks cruisers!

We used this company in December and we were very pleased. We were greeted at our designed meeting spot by Herbert, the owner. He took us to meet with the driver who would be dropping us off at the boat and picking us up after we finished. The drive was 10-15 minutes to the boat. We did the snorkel hopping tour which included several spots with fantastic snorkeling. Our snorkeling guide was great, he was able to point out several different reefs and a variety of fish. He even dove down the edge of the reef and took some amazing pics and video clips for me on my camera. We stopped for a break at Big French Key and to top the day off Herbert threw the animal encounter in for free. This was our first cruise and I was a little nervous booking through a 3rd party, we had no problems getting back to the port with time left to do a little shopping before we had to get back on the ship. This excursion was the highlight of our cruise stops and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Hope this helps!

We were lucky enough to get Herbert to ourselves for our excursion in Roatan Bay Islands. He promptly picked us up from our NCL port for our 1 mile drift over the beautiful reef. Herbert has a great love of the reef and his country which comes through in every breath. He took the time to show us the country side, took us on our reef snorkel and then took us to one of the most beautiful beaches we had ever seen. I highly recommend ROA and will try my best to just fly there for my next vacation and have Hebert as a tour guide for the week. Can not say enough about this young man.

We are 50 and 58 years old and came off of the NCL Dawn for the day.

We had a great time with ROA a couple of years ago and would definitely recommend them. Herbert and his cousin took us snorkeling and seemed to be very dedicated to protecting their environment. I am not a good swimmer and they were helpful when I needed guidance! Saw lots of beautiful fish and they sent us photos from our excursion that they had taken with their underwater GoPro camera. We even saw a pod of dolphins on our way back, which was amazing. They came up very close to the boat.
